Q. I am new to yoga, what class should I do?
We have a wide range of classes, suitable for all levels. You will find a level associated with each class, beginners, intermediate and advanced. If you are new to yoga we recommend starting off with a beginners class and letting the teacher know your experience level so they can assist you appropriately.
Q. Do I need to bring my own mat?
Not unless you would prefer to use your own. We have cork Yattay yoga mats available to use at the studio. During the coronavirus pandemic you MUST bring your own mat or you can hire a mat from us. Email [email protected] for more information (t&c’s apply).
Q. Do I need to bring any props?
We have blocks, bricks, bolsters and blankets at the studio for your use, however if you know there is something that will help you during class, you are welcome to bring it along. During the coronavirus pandemic all props will be out of use, however you are welcome to bring your own with you.
Q. Are there changing facilities?
We have a changing room and a shower that you are welcome to use. Please note that during the coronavirus pandemic, all changing facilities are out of use until further notice.
Q. What happens if I am late to class?
As long as you can be on your mat within 5 minutes of the class starting, you can join, after this point you may have missed some important information/warm ups that would keep you safe during the practice.
Q. Do you offer memberships?
Yes, we have an Unlimited Membership and an Off Peak Membership, please see our terms and conditions or prices page for full details
Q. How do I book classes?
You can book classes online via our website, using the MindBody App or by calling the studio on 01227 779097 and booking over the phone. We recommend booking your classes in advance to guarantee your space and avoid disappointment of turning up to a fully booked class.
Q. How can I pay?
You can register your nominated payment card to your account and use this to book and pay online or over the phone. Our receptionist will be happy to assist you in doing this if you need any help. You may also pay by card at the studio. Please note that during the coronavirus pandemic, all payments must be made in advance as reception is unable process any payments.
Q. What happens if I can no longer make a booked class?
We do operate a cancellation policy which means that classes must be cancelled within four hours of the class start time, classes cancelled after this period are charged in full. This applies to all clients including those on a membership.
Q. Do I have to be a member to come to class?
You do not need a membership to attend classes, but we will need to register you an account at the studio so you can book classes. We offer standard drop in classes and class passes (bulk classes with no membership commitment).
Q. Do you offer a trial or taster of classes?
We have an introductory offer £30 for 30 days for our classic classes, this is a reduced rate for unlimited classes for a month, giving you freedom to try as many classes as you can to see what is best for you. We also offer trial classes before each of our Antigravity courses begin. This gives you the opportunity to try one classes before committing to the full course.
Q. Can anyone do AntiGravity?
Mostly everyone can do AntiGravity, we recommend calling the studio and speaking to one of our receptionists if you have any queries.
Q. Do you offer private classes?
We do, our teachers are happy to teach a private class for individuals or small groups. Please speak to reception with the times and/or teacher you have in mind and they can provide you with the options available.
Q. I have suffered an injury, am I still able to come to class?
We always recommend that you disclose any injuries or difficulties you have with our receptionist and teacher. The receptionist can advise you which classes will be most suitable and refer you to the specific teacher who will be able to suggest the best way forward.
Q. I am pregnant, can I come to normal classes?
If you are pregnant, please contact the studio by email [email protected] and let us know your previous level of practice, how far into your pregnancy you are and how you active you currently are. We can then pass this information out to our teachers and return to you with the best class options.
Q. Do I bring my baby to postnatal yoga?
Yes, please bring any blankets or play mats/ toys that will help keep your baby comfortable. Our teacher is excellent and will help you to get the most out of class.
Q. Do you provide water?
We have a water fountain in the studio, but we do not provide any cups ( we are trying to reduce our waste). Please make sure you bring a water bottle with you to class, (glass is not allowed in the studio).
